My journey began as a hobby to cope with my mental health and chronic illness diagnosis. Feeling discouraged and overwhelmed by the numerous medications that had suddenly become my daily routine, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I added some rhinestones to my basic prescription bottles. Once I finished, I made the bold choice to post a picture on social media, sharing my story and my unique way of coping. Overnight, my post went viral, reaching over 35,000 people in just a few hours. I was immediately inundated with requests from people around the world who related to my situation and wanted to know how to purchase my bedazzled pill bottles. Just like that, Rx Stoned was born.

Never in a million years did I think I could turn the most negative aspect of my life into a positive experience and opportunity. In less than a year, my “hobby” transformed into a small business with a community of over 600 customers. As a stay-at-home mother, I feel truly blessed to have turned my illness into a source of income to support my family. My goal was to start and end my days on a more positive note by adding some bling to my daily routine. However, by owning my illness, I have created a community focused on Making Mental Health Great Again, one rhinestone at a time.
